No matter which one it is, we guarantee they will love it. On our website, you will find the most tasty and lovely gifts for everyone.
"The Good Dinosaur" was the theme chosen for this birthday party. Mom contact me to get some decorated white and semi-sweet alfajores to add on he desserts table. It was really nice working with mommy and daddy in selecting the three images they liked the most to put on top of the delicious mini alfajores. They turned out so cute and Yummy!!
Christmas is one of the most beautiful times of the year. I have lived in both hemispheres during this time. They are different for sure, but just as enjoyable. In the south hemisphere, Argentina to be precise, it is summer time, kids are out of school, it is harvest season, it is time for planning a summer holiday, go to the beach or swimming pool, get together with friends, go to bed late at night. This is how my family and I experienced the holiday season in Argentina.
On the other hand, in the north hemisphere, Canada to be precise, it is winter time, kids are out of school for a shorter period of time and there is a lot of a snow! We LOVE a white Christmas and we are waiting for that all year!! People are planning holidays as well but they like to go to warmer places (Yes, you are right, Mexico), it is a time to get cozy around the fireplace, go snow shoeing, skiing and all kinds of winter activities, and of course it is a perfect time to bake cookies. Isn't it delightful to be around the kitchen baking and flooding the entire house with vanilla, ginger, cinnamon and chocolate smells? With cookies in my mind and the holidays right around the corner, I wanted to share with you a free printable to make a box of cookies and tags, that you can easily download for free and make with kids or by yourself.
These creative wrapping solutions can easily turn any batch of cookies into a thoughtful homemade gift for anyone one your list.
Scroll below to download the file and for instructions for this project:
Step 1: download the free printable box and tags above (three files), cut out and glue the two parts together so that you have one whole piece (see below)
Step 2: use a box cutter to cut the window on the front of the box.
Step 3: score and fold along the lines. If you do not have a score board, just fold along the fold lines.
Step 4: Cut a square from the clear paper, slightly larger than the window, and glue or tape it to the back of the window.
Step 5: Glue the sides of the box together . Be sure it is dry before you fold the rest of the box. Make the bottom and top.
Step 6: Cut the tag, punch a hole in the tag and 2 holes in the top of the box. I found punching the holes closer to the ends, rather than in the middle, will help to keep the top closed.
Step 7: Fill the box with your favourite cookies and tie it with ribbon, raffia or twine.
Now you have a perfect and delicious gift for christmas.
Finding Dory cake...total scrumptiousness! This delicate vanilla-flavoured cake filled with layers of fresh
strawberries, delicious whipped cream, and traditional dulce de leche found a special place at the table
of a very special birthday. The image of this very popular movie character was printed on an edible
sugar paper using safe to eat inks. And what about those whimsical white seashells, yellow starfish, and
colourful algae? They were made of vanilla-flavoured fondant and totally edible!! Hmmm, we wonder if
there were any crumbs left...
Nikki and Alain got married in Mexico and for their party favours they chose our services. The couple's wedding theme included colourful Mexican skulls. And we rose to the occasion by presenting them with the most delicious and one-of-a-kind wedding party favours. The couple chose our hand-made mini alfajores. For this event we covered them in a velvety semi sweet chocolate. The multi-coloured Mexican skull design was a lot of fun to plan and make. We used edible sugar paper and inks. Each mini alfajor was carefully and individually wrapped in a clear cellophane bag tied with a ribbon and a personalized tag that we designed and printed exclusively for the couple. According to the bride's mother, these mini alfajores delighted the taste buds of all their guests! Thank you Nikki and Alain and congratulations!
Celebrating the arrival of newborn babies, Diego and Valeria, was a special affair. Their proud parents
asked us to prepare customized party favours to give to their guests at the twins'baby shower. For this
unique occasion, we prepared our hand-made mini alfajores, but this time we covered them in velvety
white chocolate. Since we believe that everything we make should be edible and lip-smacking delicious,
the alfajores were decorated with different blue and rose baby-themed designs made of a delicate,
delectable fondant. Each mini alfajor was carefully and individually wrapped in a clear cellophane bag
tied with a ribbon and a personalized tag that we designed and printed exclusively for this event.
We had the privilege to design and make these cookies and party favours for a beautiful engagement party. We worked closely with the bride and groom during the design process and you can see for yourself the wonderful alfajores and cookies we made for their special day. The round-shaped, buttery cookies offered the perfect canvas to showcase the “She said Yes” text that complemented seamlessly the “He popped the question” theme the couple chose for their celebration. Guests were also lavished with party favours featuring kissing stick figures and the couple's initials printed on sugar paper and placed on bite-sized alfajores. Unique and yummy!
Working for 30 years in the same company is a long time, isn't it? Co-workers organized a party to celebrate the milestone.
